ARS MEDICA COMMUNITY
Ars Medica brings together medical students, residents, and physicians to share experiences and support each other on our paths toward becoming the physicians we aspire to be. We believe that physicians should have the resources and support they need to bring their whole self to patient care.
The biggest challenge of becoming a physician is forging an identity that is aligned with our core values.
Becoming a physician is a transformative experience. However, during our careers, we often lack the space and opportunities to process our emotions and reflect on our journey. This can make it difficult to integrate the different parts of our new identity while also staying grounded in who we are. Developing a professional identity grounded in who we are and what we value can provide the foundation we need to overcome the challenges that may arise along the way.
By building community, curating resources, and developing inspiring learning experiences, we empower physicians to make space for their own humanity.
OUR PROGRAMS
COMMUNITY
The online community provides a space to connect and help each other become better doctors, so we can bring joy to our lives and be more present to care for our patients.
TRAINING
We envision an educational platform where doctors can find opportunities to develop the skills necessary to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing environment.
OUTREACH
We work with medical schools, teaching hospitals, medical associations, and cultural institutions to produce educational content that sparks dialogue and reflection.
